Don’t Write Off the Rest of the Year
Can you believe that 2017 is almost over?
The stores have Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas decorations out already. Before you know it everything will be pink for Valentine’s Day.
It would be so easy to just coast through the rest of the year and wake up Fresh in 2018. But..NO!
As I wrap up this year with events and helping clients, I am also looking forward. Knowing that your hard work lives on, providing for others and ensuring a better life for others..these are big motivators for me and a lot of my clients. So, tease last few months of the year we will be focusing on preparing and planning for the future with Legacy Planning. This includes family, charities, taxes, and the principles and values a person wants to pass on. It’s about trusts, wills and whisper letters. It’s about leaving nothing unfinished!
Ask yourself 3 questions:
What are the 3 most important principles you would like to leave to your children or the next generation?
What steps have you taken to minimize the tax liability on your estate?
What would your whisper letter say? How would you advise those who inherit your wealth to use it?
